A vertically oriented etching depicts a rural landscape under an expansive sky. Dense, sweeping horizontal and curved lines fill the upper half. Four large, conical haystacks dominate the center, their bases heavily shaded. To the right, a building with a steeple nestles among dark, cross-hatched trees. In the lower third, a horse-drawn cart with two small figures travels along a path that leads away through a field of short hatched lines.
