A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts harvested grain on off-white paper. Two large, central sheaves tied with bands dominate the foreground, casting shadows diagonally toward the lower right. Rows of smaller bundles recede up a slope, becoming less distinct near a dark, cross-hatched horizon. Throughout the composition, fine, overlapping lines and sharp strokes create a dense texture suggesting dry stalks and uneven ground.
