A vertically oriented print in black ink with loose, grainy lines depicts a central tree trunk splitting into a wide V-shape. Thin, angled branches reach toward the top and sides of the frame. In the middle ground, another tree stands among dense, scribbled thickets. Fine cross-hatching creates texture on the bark and foliage, while dark, heavy strokes define shadows on the trunks and the uneven, scrubby forest floor below.
