A long rectangular lacquer box with rounded edges features gold patterns on a dark, polished ground. A geometric lattice of interlocking diamonds, each containing a four-petaled flower, covers the entire surface. Larger, organic forms resembling gnarled branches and trailing leaves are overlaid in gold. A small dark metal ring is attached to a floral-shaped mount on the side. The box sits against a neutral gradient background.
