A long, horizontal lacquer box base features a glossy finish and rounded ends. Along the side, a deep red band is detailed with orange floral patterns and framed by thin geometric borders. Toward the right, the form transitions to a dark brown area depicting a miniature landscape with trees and structures. The interior and top edges are dark, highlighting the detailed opaque watercolor decoration covering the varnished container.
