A horizontally rectangular silk velvet fragment has cream, red, and forest green vertical stripes. Wide bands of plush velvet feature large raised red roses and green leaves. These are separated by narrow white ribbed stripes containing thin vertical rows of small red and green florets. The plush floral designs create a repeating, textured pattern that stands out against the flat, ribbed background across the textile surface.
