A gilt wood sculpture of a tall candleholder features a wide, triangular base with scrolled feet and a central leaf motif. A tapering stem extends upward through several grooved sections, including a middle portion with carved flowers and cloth-like drapes flaring out on either side. A scalloped circular plate at the top supports a vertical metal spike. Flakes of the gilding have worn away to reveal dark wood underneath.
