A horizontal wood tool features a long, warm-brown body with a decorative scroll curling upward at the narrow front. In the middle, a sloped rectangular opening is carved through the smooth, pitted surface. Toward the rear, the wood thickens and rises into an integrated handle with a rectangular cutout. The entire piece rests on a flat base, its form tapering from a thick midsection toward the narrow front and rear ends.
