A marble sculpture depicts the head and neck of Aphrodite looking slightly to our right and down. Her wavy hair is parted in the center and pulled back in textured ridges. She has heavy-lidded eyes, a straight nose, and a small, level mouth. The neck ends in a jagged break. Scattered brown spots speckle the smooth, off-white marble surface.
