Did You Know?

This print belongs to a portfolio published by the dealer Gustave Pellet, who created a special luxury paper that featured a watermark of his initials.
A vertically oriented color lithograph depicts a woman with light skin tone seen from behind, seated on the floor. Her torso leans forward, dark hair falling as she raises her arms to comb it. She wears a white sleeveless chemise gathered into a dark, full skirt. To our left sits a washbasin on a small stand. The textured background is a muted tan with brown speckles throughout.
