A vertically oriented, off-white paper cover is detailed with red and gold-toned lettering. At the top, ETCHINGS sits within a red rectangular border, with VENICE similarly positioned to our right. Centered below, OTTO H. BACHER is printed in gold. Three circular bird emblems, like stamped seals, are distributed across the wrinkled surface. Along the left edge, white strips bind the pages together, their ends tied into small, light tassels.
