A horizontally oriented etching in black ink depicts eleven people with light skin tones gathered around a stone wellhead in a Venetian plaza. Figures in long skirts and shawls lean against the structure, which features a dark, peaked cover. Fine lines texture the background buildings and a bridge arching over a canal to our right. Bare trees stand to our left. Inscriptions identify the location as San Vio, Venice.
