A circular iron sword guard features a dark, textured openwork design. At its core, a central vertical opening is flanked by two loops and accented with golden-brown plugs. A broad, pointed hat with fine horizontal striations curves across the upper right. Stylized, cloud-like organic forms decorate the left and bottom edges. A narrow diagonal rod connects the lower left to the center, all framed by a smooth, rounded outer rim.
