A circular iron sword guard features an intricate openwork design of a stylized bird. A central vertical opening is flanked by serrated wings curving upward to form the outer rim. At the top, the bird's head points its long beak to the left, while small, pointed cutouts at the base resemble claws. The dark metal surface exhibits a heavily weathered and pitted texture throughout.
