An iron sword guard, a circular tsuba, features a dark, pitted surface with openwork designs. A central vertical oval opening is flanked by two rounded holes. At the top center sits a ridged, pointed leaf. To the left and right, curved stalks and broad leaves arch toward the rim. Along the bottom, stylized waves with incised lines crest upward. All motifs are contained within a thick, rounded outer border.
