Adorned with brass scrolling vines and five-petaled flowers, this circular iron sword guard features a dark, pitted surface and a raised rim. A central vertical opening is lined with copper at its ends. To the left, a circular cutout houses a three-pronged floral motif, while a dark oval plug fills the opening on the right. Extensive oxidation and irregular textures characterize the weathered metal, framing the delicate brass designs.
