A vertically oriented cream silk textile fragment features a repeating pattern of raised, deep red velvet motifs. Symmetrical scrolling leaves and small flower clusters branch from a central axis of stacked pointed ovals. The plush red pile contrasts with the smooth, flat-woven ground. A narrow green and cream striped border lines the left edge, while the top and bottom remain frayed. This intricate brocade displays a luxurious, heavy texture.
