A translucent tan flint blade is chipped into a horizontal shape, tapering on the right into a broad tip resembling a spade. The left end is cut flat, while the long edges are jaggedly serrated. Dark brown horizontal bands run through the bottom, punctuated by small white specks. Shallow, smooth depressions ripple across the surface, marking where material was flaked away to create the tool's textured, organic face.
