A teardrop-shaped jewelry bead features a tapered body narrowing from a rounded top to a blunt base. Composed of gold foil over a calcite gesso core, the surface is warm and reflective, marked by reddish-brown patches and a vertical seam along one side. Chips at the terminal ends reveal a darker interior. The ornament's elongated vertical form emphasizes a slightly uneven, metallic texture.
