A long, vertical gold and calcite jewelry bead has an elongated teardrop shape. Widest near the top, the form tapers down to a narrow base. Small threading holes are visible at either end. The golden surface is aged and pitted, worn away in places to reveal dark brown and black patches of the material underneath. The uneven texture gives the simple silhouette a weathered and ancient character.
