A sculpture depicts a duck carved from feldspar, a seafoam green stone mottled with white and tan spots and polished to a sheen. Fine, incised lines along the sides represent folded wings. Tucking its head back against its body, the duck has a high, rounded profile on our left that tapers toward our right. The small, smooth figure rests on a flat base.
