Auxiliary Services Manager
The Cleveland Museum of Art seeks a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Auxiliary Services team as the Auxiliary Services Manager. This person will assist in the planning, staging, execution and analysis of the museum’s auxiliary services including facility rental, event management and museum store retail operations. This position serves as liaison to museum’s food service vendor in the rental of museum spaces through the coordination of scheduling spaces and museum provided services. This position does not have direct reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree, 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
- Employee should possess excellent writing skills and be computer proficient, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience with word-processing software, accounting spreadsheet software, and computer-database management preferred.
- Must be professional and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact diplomatically with staff members and other customers. Employee must be able to work creatively, effectively and independently on multiple projects simultaneously, and to be detail-oriented in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Must possess excellent organizational ability and time management skills to establish timetables, meet strict and sometimes concurrent deadlines, multi-task and prioritize workloads. Ability to work with a wide variety of people in a variety of social settings required.
